23 Seasons of NY Theatre, Now available in Raleigh/Durham
My Background
I photographed my first show when I was in high school. Yep, as the last chords of Hello Dolly were dying out, I knew I was hooked. Fast forward to today, where I’ve been covering professional theatre for over 23 seasons.
My home theatre has been the Geva Theatre Center in Rochester NY, which is the biggest producing house in NY (outside of Broadway of course). In Durham, we now work with DPAC (the 2nd largest house in the US for ticket sales) and the historic Carolina Theatre.
What will your show photos look like?
What I Offer
The chance to nail the show photography only comes once, and then you need amazing images fast, fast, fast to promote it. We’ve done every sort of show from huge musicals (Little Shop of Horrors and Spamalot) to dance for the troupe led by the Choreographer for the Lion King, Garth Fagan.
We get the shots, quickly, quietly, confidently and have the ability to put two photographers on big shows for better coverage (like more balcony/full stage shots).
Thanks for helping us put together the photos for the published version of the show. You really are the bee’s knees!Marge BetleyGeva Theatre Center Literary Manager/Resident Dramaturg (former) co-Playwright Pride & Prejudice
