Duke = Life

This isn’t in the normal way Durhamites mean it… But as we were exploring the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, we saw this helicopter fly over and though it was being a bit overly ‘Duke’ to have that painted on the bottom.

Then the next week, it hit me as I was going to a client photo shoot for Duke School of Nursing that this is one of the Duke Life Flight helicopters.

It was a great reminder, as it might be to you as you see them fly over, how fortunate we are to have such an advanced care system, just a few miles from our front doors.
