Film Acoustic

Colin and I were just discussing ways to get creative people together to share ideas, when we bumped into this awesome series hosted by the Modern School of Film at the Carolina Theatre in Durham.

The basic idea is that you get a creative person in the music world, ask them to pick a film they love, then we all watch and discuss it together. Cool, huh?

As evidence of how well Durham treats us, Robert Milazzo from MSF saw our tweeted photos and has asked us to cover the next event for them on July 27 2015 with My Morning Jacket. It’s sure to be a fun event, as we’re screening and discussing The Dark Crystal and the full band will be there for the discussion 🙂
