Full Frame Documentary Film Festival 2016

One of the draws to liv­ing in Durham is hav­ing full fledged doc­u­men­tary film fest just 10 min­utes from home.

Not sure you love doc­u­men­tary films? They have a gate­way drug for you each year, with awe­some, crowd-pleas­ing docs for free (2 at Durham Cen­tral Park and one at the Car­oli­na The­atre). After catch­ing one or two of those, you’re sure to line up the next year for a broad­er selec­tion of films.

We caught 2 of the free shows and sev­er­al oth­ers, and had a great time. More on what films we were into in my post here.

Oth­er than the top red image, this series of pho­tos is from the clos­ing night free screen­ing of Nor­man Lear: Just Anoth­er Ver­sion of You at the Car­oli­na. And since we do work for the Car­oli­na, we also snagged some emblem­at­ic shots of pulling down the Full Frame let­ter­ing from the mar­quee.
