Happy 2016

I have photos cued up for quite a number of days, and just wanted to start by wishing you a great New Year! 

The banner view is at the ATC of course, and I just love that the snowflake is made of little ATC water tanks.

The other photo is a detail view from the second floor of The Durham Hotel. They’ve done such a great job preserving the mid-century details like the tile —and I enjoyed how the warm tree lights contrasted with the tile outside.

We were at the Durham for the 120th anniversary of film event hosted by Durham Cinematheque. Check out what they do. We got to see real film prints of a large assortment of films going all the way back to 1895.
