YMCA Camp Gorham in the Adirondacks: A Day in the Life @ Camp
This is the only Y camp I haven't made it to, so I jumped at the chance to create a file for Camp Gorham. They'll use these photos for publications, promoting off-season rental of their amazing new Lodge, etc. For the most part, these were all taken in a 24 hour period at the camp (one eve through the next). And they are 99% real things that were happening, we only set up a few things like the campfire and jumping group since they were shots we needed… so these aren't staged moments. This is how I love to work, running around catching real moments.

Class of 2011 Doctors & Nurses:
This is such a wonderful day with the University of Rochester Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and also the School of Nursing. It's at the amazing Eastman Theatre and the pride of the families & the excitement of the graduates is infectious... oh, um, not infectious... really it's scrubbed and sanitary, but still excitement ;-)

Not a Diva: Eastman School Welcomes the Gracious Renée Fleming
The best part (other than Renée being so nice and saying I do great work!) was that things were running late and I got invited to see half the show.

My job was really the mix and mingle receptions, but my client said to grab a quick shot anyway since it was such a great view.


Lots of folks had a chance to meet Renée at the Genesee Valley Club. She did this concert as a benefit for a new scholarship for Eastman School of Music vocal students.

A Gorgeous Show at Naz College Theatre: Grimm by Lindsay Korth
Locally written by one of our our, this is a terrific production all around and, while a challenge technically to shoot, I think the results were well worth it.

These photos are 99% live action from the final dress rehearsal. That's the way I like to work best. And then they have a few set ups at the end to capture a particular moment or costume, etc.

The Y Rochester Reopens an Amazing Maplewood Branch:
