Overview: Why talk about famous folks

Since people ask... Here's info on some of the
Famous Folks We've Photographed

I've had the good fortune to be asked by clients to photograph many famous people. Really, any active photographer can come up with such a list, and a news photographer at any local paper will have done so much more.

So why post it at all?
Well, first it's fun for me to remember all of these shoots and over time I'll add some photos as well. Also, many clients and friends get a kick out of hearing who I've photographed.

Life Preserver - Support_48x48“Finally, it doesn't prove one a great photographer to do this sort of work
(only quality images will show that),
but it does suggest that clients trust me again and again
when it's one of their 'big' high-stress ”

It won't fluster me to work around federal and international security and when they check me out, I must look like a pretty safe guy Happy

Talk - Exclamation_48x48One anecdote... A client of mine had a very famous actor coming into town and they told me that photographers were popping up out of the woodwork to volunteer to do the shoot. They still chose to hire me because when the pressure was on they knew the quality of the work they'd get from me and that I'd make the photo end of the event low stress for them... one less thing to worry about on the big night. And that, I am proud of.... Being consistent and reducing clients stress.

Oh, and I'll add photos an anecdotes over time. One more point I forgot. This really isn't 'name dropping' either. I don't really know these folks, I don't pretend they are friends and I don't even try to sneak into photos with them. It is fun, however to see them 'behind the scenes' and hear what they have to say and get a sense for them as people.
